Ms. Sharmila Shrestha , a scholar of Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics has successfully defended her dissertation entitled "Finite Element Approach to Study Temperature Distribution in Tumor-Embedded Breast Tissue Models." on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. Ms. Shrestha has completed her Ph.D. research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dil Bahadur Gurung and Co-Supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Gokul K.C.

The Ph.D. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, supervisor Prof. Dr. Dil Bahadur Gurung, HoD Prof. Dr. Rabindra Kayastha, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Kedar Nath Uprety, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samir Shrestha (Dean’s Nominee), Prof. Dr. Pushpa Raj Adhikary (VC’s Nominee).

The final approval of the Ph.D. degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
