Mr. Pant Kumar Sah, a scholar of M.Phil. by Research in Mathematics under the Department of Mathematics, School of Science, Kathmandu University has successfully defended his thesis/dissertation entitled ""A Study on Metric Space with Some Major Variants" on July 2, 2025. Mr. Sah has completed his M.Phil. by Research under the Supervision of Prof. Dr. Kanhaiya Jha and Co-Supervision of Dr. Kanchha Bhai Manandhar.

The M.Phil. by Research Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal, the Supervisor Prof. Dr. Kanhaiya Jha, Head of Department Prof. Dr. Rabindra Kayastha, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Dinesh Panthi, Dean's Nominee Prof. Dr. Dil Bahadur Gurung.

The final approval of the M.Phil. by Research degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
