Mr. Hem Raj Pandey, a scholar of Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics has successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Modeling of Dengue Disease Transmission Dynamics in Nepal: A Fractional Derivative Approach" on Friday, 22 November 2024. Mr. Pandey has completed his Ph.D. research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dil Bahadur Gurung and the Co-Supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ganga Ram Phaijoo.
The Ph.D. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, the supervisor Prof. Dr. Dil Bahadur Gurung, Head of Department Prof. Dr. Rabindra Kayastha, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Jivandhar Jnawali, Dean's Nominee Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samir Shrestha and VC's Nominee Prof. Dr. Pushpa Raj Adhikary.
The final approval of the Ph.D. degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
