Mr. Bikram Rai, a scholar of M.Phil. in Mathematics under the Department of Mathematics, School of Science, Kathmandu University has successfully defended his thesis/dissertation entitled “Modeling the Transmission Dynamics of Dengue Disease in Dharan, Sunsari” on October 08, 2026. Mr. Rai has completed his M.Phil. in Mathematics under the Supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ganga Ram Phaijoo and the Co-supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Hem Raj Pandey.
The M.Phil. in Mathematics Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Rajani Shakya; the Supervisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ganga Ram Phaijoo; Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Rabindra Kayastha; External Examiner, Dr. Gauri Bhuju; Dean's Nominee, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gokul KC; Associate Dean, Prof. Dr. Bhupal Govinda Shrestha.
