Kathmandu University (KU), Dhulikhel, and the University of Hong Kong (HKU), Hong Kong, have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster cooperation in architectural education, research, and joint hands-on architectural design studios. The agreement is signed by representatives of both Universities, and they share a commitment to advancing collaborative endeavors in various academic domains (9th June 2024).

The core focus of this collaboration is to promote academic cooperation through joint research, lectures, seminars, training, exchange of teaching materials, and the establishment of joint architectural design studios, service learning, and experiential learning activities.
