A Letter of Agreement has been signed between The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, and Kathmandu University School of Science effective from 16th February 2024 for five years. The agreement was signed on the occasion of North Zone Vice Chancellors’ Meet 2024 & Bharat-Nepal Higher Education Summit in the premises of Kathmandu University between Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Patel, Dean of Faculty of Technology and Engineering and Director of Office of International Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, the Dean of School of Science of Kathmandu University. The Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University, Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, and the Vice-Chancellor of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Prof. Dr. Vijay Kumar Srivastava, graced the agreement ceremony. The Associate Dean Prof. Dr. Ujjwal Man Joshi, along with the Heads of Departments, Faculty, and Staff from the School of Science were also present in the singing event.

The agreement was made for the purpose of providing to strengthening the links for cooperation between the two organizations in the areas of Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Bio-technology, Bio-informatics, Environmental Science & Engineering, Computer Science, and other related fields.
