A Letter of Agreement (LOA) has been signed between Kathmandu University, the School of Science, and Alternative Foundation Nepal on March 31, 2024.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, Dean of the School of Science of Kathmandu University, and Mr. Prakash Bikalpa, President of the Alternative Foundation. The agreement was made for the purpose of conducting scientific research, knowledge exchange, strengthening the research and development (R&D) and exploration of possible areas that contribute on the academic excellence.

Prof. Rajendra Gyawali, Department of Pharmacy, and Mr. RK Dhungana of Alternative foundation along with officials of the foundation were also present in the signing event.
