Aquatic Ecology Centre offers Post Doc Position

Aquatic Ecology Centre is seeking a
highly motivated post-doctoral research associate as Work Package (WP) Leader to
work on the WP title Environmental flow
assessment and tool development considering
macro-invertebrates in varying river typology, depths and discharge. The
work package will explore the opportunity about what needs to be done in terms
of the institutional and policy context in an effort to integrate Environmental
Flow (EF) into water management policies. It will develop national capacity in
EF so that scientists, policy makers, hydropower and irrigation developers and
other key organizations are more cognizant of the importance of ecosystem
services and also knowledgeable about how to enhance sustainable river basin
management. This research project is supported by International Water
Management Institute (IWMI).
