A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the School of Science, Kathmandu University (SoS, KU) and Nepal Pharmaceutical Association (NPA) on February 5, 2025 at Kathmandu University Dhulikhel. The Dean of School of Science Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane and the President of NPA Mr. Lalit Mohan Pant signed the MoU. The MoU articulated the intent in a collaborative effort aimed at fostering the mutual advancement of the pharmacy profession through various professional activities including conferences, workshops, seminars, joint publication of Journal of Nepal Pharmaceutical Association (JNPA), and facilitating access to good employment, internship, and other opportunities to pharmacy students.

Dr. Rajan Shrestha, Head Department of Pharmacy, Mr, Anup Luitel, Department of Pharmacy and Mr. Sanjeev Sharma Kattel, General Secretary of NPA along with other officials of SoS, KU and NPA were also present in the event.
