A collaboration agreement between Kathmandu University and the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Forest and Environment, Department of Environment signed on July 22, 2025. The Dean of the School of Science, Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal from Kathmandu University and Mr. Gyan Raj Subedi, Director General from Department of Environment signed document. The agreement is related to the installation and management of the government's air quality monitoring station at KU. Students, faculty members, and researchers at KU will greatly benefit from the monitoring station, which has state-of-the-art air pollution measurement devices. The air quality monitoring data and the station will thus be highly beneficial and relevant to academic and research purposes.
