Instructions

  • Please download the admission form, fill it out, and email the scanned copy along with all required documents to econ@kusoa.edu.np. There is no need to visit the office; email submission is sufficient. You will receive a confirmation message once your email has been received.
  • Include the scanned payment voucher for the NPR 1,000 non-refundable application fee.
  • If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via email.
  • For those wishing to visit in person, the preferred counselling time is 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Please confirm your visit by emailing econ@kusoa.edu.np.

Program Overview

Masters in Economics (MECON) is a two-year program designed to provide strong foundations in economic theory and applied quantitative research. The curriculum emphasizes microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, public economics, political economy, and development economics. Elective courses cover diverse areas such as environmental economics and industrial organization.
