From 08 February to 13 February 2023, a team led by the Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University visited different academic institutions in the Far Western province. Prof. Dr. Panna Thapa, Prof. Dr. Bivek Baral, and Prof. Dr. Rajendra Joshi were also on the team. The team made an inspection, and interaction and outlined the path for future collaboration. In those institutions, faculties, non-teaching staff and also the students asked various questions regarding higher education in Nepal, the current situation and the steps KU is undertaking in providing educational service. The Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa explained these issues, shared ideas and also showed how the challenges of that region can be converted into opportunities. The visits were conducted in the following institutions.
