Background 

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is significantly transforming the global labor market by reshaping job roles, skill requirements, and workplace practices. Automation, digitalization, and intelligent systems are not only replacing routine tasks but also creating new opportunities that demand advanced technical and soft skills. For countries like Nepal, these changes present both opportunities for innovation and challenges in terms of workforce readiness, skills mismatch, and inclusion. The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector has a critical role to play in preparing individuals for this evolving world of work. 

In this context, TVET Sambaad, under Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED), is organizing an online panel discussion to explore the transformative impact of AI on the labor market and its implications for skills development.
