VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Kathmandu University -- Integrated Rural Development Project (KU-IRDP) is a Project Funded by Government of Republic of Korea. It is jointly managed by Kathmandu University (KU) Nepal and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Korea. Executive Council of Kathmandu University has now formally established Nepal Technology Innovation Center (NTIC) as a legal entity in Nepal at Kathmandu University  as per its official meeting held in Janaury 18

th 

2019.

"Integrated Rural Development of Nepal through Strenghtening Research and Development capacity of Kathmandu University."

The main objective of the Project are:

1. Contribute for integrated rural development of Nepal by  Strengthening research and development capacity of Kathmandu University.
2. Promote technology innovation for improving quality of life and income status of people in rural communities in Nepal mainly in the field of Agriculture and Rural Development, Renewable Energy and Health related Livelihood.

To conduct the Project smoothly, the Project hereby calls for an application for the following position from interested, qualified and commited candidates.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist to Coordinate training and development programs to meet the identified development needs.
• Assist in technical Monitoring and Evaluation, as required.
• Assist to Prepare technical Proposal and reports based on project activities.
• Assist to Arrange, organize, minute and manage meetings conducted by the KU-IRDP/NTIC.
• Assist in any other tasks as assigned by Operational and Management Committee KU-IRDP/NTIC.

      Desired Qualification and Experience:

1. 4 years B.Sc. degree in Science with first division from reputed university.
2. Must have certain experirence of working with international agencies.
3. Ability to write Technical Proposal and Reports.
4. Excellent Communication/ Writing Skills (Both Nepali and English).
5. Good command over office packages.
