Turbine Testing Lab (TTL) Establishment of centre for design, operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment for hydropower plants in Himalaya Region at Kathmandu University Application from qualified, hardworking and result oriented professionals is hereby invited for the following positions.
Researchers (full time)
to carry our necessary research activities to fulfil the objectives of the project which includes design and installation of an IEC standard hydro turbine test rig at TTL, setup instrumentation measurement procedures, fabrication of model runners and performance testing of models in the test rig.
A four years of undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering with some years of experience in the field of hydropower sector. Candidates with Masters in Mechanical Engineering will be given preference.
Lab Technician (full time)
to carry our necessary installation works to fulfil the objectives of the project which includes design and installation of an IEC standard hydro turbine test rig at TTL, facilitate during the fabrication of model runners and performance testing of models in the test rig.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with experience on hydropower sector will be an added advantage.
