Kathmandu University-Integrated Rural Development Project (KU-IRDP) is a project funded by the government of the Republic of Korea. It is jointly managed by Kathmandu University (KU) Nepal and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Korea. Kathmandu University has formally established Nepal Technology Innovation Center (NTIC) as an entity in Nepal as a major milestone of “Integrated Rural Development of Nepal through Strengthening Research and Development capacity of Kathmandu University.”
The main objectives of IRDP/NTIC are:
Testing and Accreditation program at NTIC is established to promote technology innovation via research & development infra-structure support and to expand equipment utilization of NTIC. To support for the testing and accreditation facilities at NTIC a consultant is to undertake the baseline survey on testing and accreditation of Agriculture and Rural Development Components.
Objective:
The main objective of the work is to perform a baseline survey on testing and accreditation of Agriculture and Rural Development Components in Nepal.
With the main objective to develop the baseline survey (outside KU), methodology and questionnaire to collect the related information, statistical analysis and to assist NTIC researchers on data collection, analysis, and to access the current need and requirement of the project for the sustainability of the NTIC the Testing and Accreditation Services hereby calls for an application for a consultant from interested, qualified and committed candidates in the area of:
