School of Education invites application from dynamic and qualified candidates who are willing to take up challenges, for the following positions on contract basis:

POSITION: Assistant Professor / Lecturer

Area and required number:

• Chinese Language Teaching : Few

Minimum Requirement

1. Minimum Qualification Required:

1. Lecturer:

Master degree with first division or equivalent in related discipline

OR

MPhil/ PhD in relevant discipline

2. Assistant Professor:

Master degree with first division or equivalent in related discipline and minimum two years of teaching experience at undergraduate/graduate level

OR

MPhil/ PhD in relevant discipline with minimum one year of teaching experience at undergraduate/ graduate level

2. Competencies, Skills and knowledge required

1.  be between 25 to 50 years of age
2.  be capable of skillfully using English or Nepali for teaching and communication
3.  have Chinese Putonghua proficiency with standard Putonghua pronunciation and the Mandarin test (HSK) proficiency Band six

3. Experience

• Experience of teaching Chinese as a foreign language shall be an advantage.
