On 29th June, 2026, fourth-year Computational Mathematics students from the Department of Mathematics participated in an industry visit to UBA Solutions – A Monotype Partner Company, Lalitpur, as part of the Software Engineering (COMP 401) course.

Software Engineering is a core course offered by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DoCSE) to various undergraduate programs at Kathmandu University. During the visit, the students had a fruitful discussion on the current landscape of software engineering, modern software development practices, and the opportunity to observe the corporate working environment. Team members, technical leads, managers, and HR representatives shared valuable insights into the evolving adoption of AI in the industry.

The visit was facilitated by Mr. Saugat Singh, Lecturer, DoCSE, and coordinated by Mr. Subash Kunwar, Senior Agile Practitioner at UBA Solutions.
