The Himalayan Cryosphere, Climate and Disaster Research Center (HiCCDRC), Kathmandu University (KU) want to procure a logistic support from a VAT registered trekking agency for a field research team of 5 members to Rikha Samba Glacier, Hidden Valley, Mustang district, Nepal with the following details:
Field duration: 1 to 18 October 2016
Number of members: 5
Logistic support to be includes: Transportation, Food, Lodge, Camping on glacier base camp, 2 nights camping on higher glacier camp, Sherpa and guides, Porters to carry personal gears and scientific equipments.
Tender form can be purchased from Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel at Rs.1000(Non-refundable). Sealed bidding documents must be submitted in the Administrative Office of KU in Dhulikhel by 16 September 2016. Eligible and experienced trekking agencies are requested to submit their logistic support cost per person per day and cost of additional porters for extra carrying weight of equipment of about 300 kgs. Kathmandu University reserves the right to accept and reject any or all the bids without assigning reasons, whatsoever. Activities here as follow & the detailed will be in Tender Documents.

Sherpas and guide
Two number of sherpas and one guide to arrange and manage the glaciological field including the kitchens staffs as per requirement for the five team members.
Porters:
