Seminar on ‘Good Pharmacy Practice’

The seminar on “Good Pharmacy Practice” organized by the Department of Pharmacy (DoP) was held successfully on 26^th December 2014 in Kathmandu University.

The program was started with welcome speech of Dr. Rajani Shakya, Acting Head, DoP and introductory remarks of Prof. Dr. Panna Thapa.

Resource persons for the seminar were Ms. Sweta Shrestha, Lecturer, DoP, Mr. Safiur Rahman, Lecturer, Asian College of Advance Studies and Mr. Binaya Sapkota, Pharmacy In-charge, Civil Hospital.

The main goal of this seminar was to create awareness among the students about the scope of pharmacists in the hospital settings. Our motive was to show  a direction to those who opted to work in hospitals in future and to highlight the areas like aseptic techniques, medication reviews where pharmacists can have an important role to play.
