TU RCDC Awards Equiv. USD 15,000 Research Grants to Dr. Dawadi, TU (PI) and Dr. Poudyal, KU (Co-PI) for Cutting-Edge Intelligent Network and Security Research in Nepal

The Research Coordination and Development Council (RCDC) of Tribhuvan University (TU) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on December 19, 2025 with Dr. Babu R. Dawadi, Principal Investigator and the Director of Network, Cyber Security, and Digital Forensic Wing of LICT (NCSDF-Wing).

The research, entitled “Latest Generation Intelligent Network Design, Deployment, and Security Prospects Analysis in the Context of Nepal (LISPAN)”, aims to address critical challenges in modern network architecture, deployment strategies, and cybersecurity measures tailored for Nepal’s evolving digital infrastructure. The study will also provide actionable insights into securing next-generation networks, enabling safer and more efficient digital services across the nation.

Dr. Dawadi, along with his co-investigator Dr. Prakash Poudyal, Assistant Professor at Kathmandu University, will spearhead this project, ensuring the research aligns with the highest technical, financial, and managerial standards, as per TU’s research guidelines.
