On 11 th October, 2023, Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) successfully organized an Interaction program between the Vice-chancellor and the PhD scholars at C.V. Raman Auditorium in KU, Dhulikhel, Kavre. The interaction aimed to bring together Vice-chancellor, other KU authorities, supervisors and all the PhD scholars together in one floor to listen and discuss their experiences, expectations and problems in PhD duration. The same program also welcomed the new PhD scholars admitted in Kathmandu University.

Prof. Dr. Bibhuti Ranjan Jha started the program by highlighting the status of PhD scholars of all the schools. Prof. Dr. Achyut Prasad Wagle, Registrar extended the welcome to all the participants and motivated the PhD scholars to do best in their respective field so that the academic and community both would be benefited. Associate Prof. Gajendra Sharma highlighted the importance of the program and briefed about last year's program. Deans of all the schools talked about the status and future plans of PhD program in their respective schools. After the speeches there was an open forum where the PhD scholars put forward their queries and feedbacks. All the feedbacks were recorded so as to be addressed in due course of time.

The program was concluded with closing remarks by Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Vice-chancellor of the university by answering all the queries, and thanking all the participants of the program. RDI would like to extend special thanks to all the participants and helping hands. RDI also looks forward to receive feedbacks of the interaction program.
