DOCUMENT VERIFICATION AND ADMISSION NOTICE

This is to notify that expression of interest (EoI) applicants indicated in the attached program-wise admission priority list may get the opportunity of admission in the indicated remaining seat of the corresponding program. The listed applicants are required to contact concerned department in person on 30 September 2016 by 11:00 AM with their EoI submission receipt. Delayed candidate will not be considered eligible for admission offer.

Admission will be offered to appearing candidate based on number of seat remaining and merit of the appeared applicants. The admission process must be completed on the same day (30 September 2016) by the applicant following the procedure below. So, appearing candidates are required to bring the documents for verification and shall be ready to pay the required fee on the same day if admission is offered.

30 September 2016 is the last date for Admission in Undergraduate Programs of School of Engineering for this academic session as decided by the Admission Committee of the School.

Procedure for Document Verification and Admission for Offered Candidate (Candidates are required to strictly follow the sequence):

1. Appear in person in the concerned department with original documents (with copies); get the documents verified.

2. Complete the admission and registration forms.

3. Pay the required fees to Kathmandu University’s Account at any branch of the following banks:

Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. (NIBL): A/C No.: 00501030250009

Nabil Bank Account No.: 0110010955102

Fee for admission in Engineering Program: NRs. 118,000 (one hundred eighteen thousand only); Do not pay the fees before the document verification.

4. Submit the concerned department 3 recent photos (PP-size), proof/voucher of payment, copies of the academic certificates, transcripts, and citizenship certificate.

NOTES:

• In the event that erroneous information or invalid documents have been provided by the applicant, intentionally or otherwise, the applicant will be automatically rejected.

• Candidates should complete the admission process by September 30, 2016. Request for the extension of the deadline will not be considered.

• The bank at KU will be open till 1:00 PM on the day.
