PhD defense by Mr. Sailesh Chitrakar

Mr. Sailesh Chitrakar gave his defense of the PhD dissertation at Norwegian University of Science and Technology on 27^th June, 2018 successfully. This PhD is a joint degree between Kathmandu University (Mechanical Engineering Department) and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU-Department of Energy and Process Engineering). The defense was also attended by his supervisor at KU, Prof. Hari Prasad Neopane. The candidate was supervised by Prof. Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug from NTNU. This PhD degree is the first joint degree conducted by School of Engineering, KU. According to this joint degree agreement (Cotutelle), the candidate spends half of the time at KU and half at NTNU during the course of PhD. The candidate gave the internal defense at DoME, KU on 19^th March, 2018.
