Dr. Khatiwada delivered a key-note presentation on “Mainstreaming Environmental Assessment in Infrastructure Development Projects in Nepal” co-authored by Dr. Ghimire and Mr. Nivesh Dugar, during the Technical Session IX: Climate Change and Environment. Furthermore, Ms. Dhakal presented a research paper entitled “Life Cycle Assessment of Expanded Polystyrene Beads (EPS) based Wall Panel and its Comparison with Brick Masonry.”, co-authored by Dr. Khatiwada, Mr. Suryan Man Koju and Dr. Ghimire, during the Technical Session XI: Engineering Geology and Infrastructural Development. The abstracts of the two papers have been published in the Journal of Nepal Geological Society (2016, Special Issue - Volume 59).
