This is for the general information of all concerned that the Director of RDC will be available at
research@ku.edu.np for any inquiries related to research policy of Kathmandu University &
guidelines in external and internal fund mobilisation. This office is based in Main Campus, Dhulikhel
and office bearers are Mr. Biraj Pradhan as Finance Manager and Ms. Sarina Shrestha as Finance
Officer.
All the research proposals (including proposals for the organization of International Conferences,
Workshops, Seminars etc.) with effective from dated the 13th April 2015, MUST first be submitted
by Principal Investigator to the Office of Director-RDC to ensure that the proposals submitted are in
accordance with the Kathmandu University RDC Policy Document and Guidelines.
All qualified faculty members are encouraged to apply for project funding. PI will be the faculty
member (conditions apply in case of Position holders) best qualified for the assignment at hand.
Project funding is awarded to the university, to be executed by the identified PI. If the PI's job is
terminated for some reasons, the university will decide if and who will continue the project.
