Kathmandu University on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, organized a ceremony to celebrate the new appointments and promotions of faculty. The event, organized in the CV Raman Auditorium, included the conferral of appointments of four Professors, three Associate Professors, 11 Assistant Professors.

In the programme, moderated by Dr. Dinesh Kafle, Assistant Professor, School of Arts, each newly appointed professor gave a short inaugural lecture highlighting the future activities they plan to carry out at the university.

Prof. Dr. Achyut Prasad Wagle, the Registrar of the university, handed over the appointment letters. Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, the Vice-Chancellor, presented khada scarves to the appointees, and Ms. Jyoti Pradhan, Chief of the Human Resources Division, offered a bouquet to the newly promoted faculty.
