Ms. Rita Bhatta defended her Doctoral Dissertation

Ms. Rita Bhatta, a scholar of Ph.D. in Environmental Science at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering has successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Local and Long-range Transport of Pollutants: Implication on Ramsar sites – Ghodaghodi and Rara – from Western Nepal" on Friday, August 2, 2024. Ms. Bhatta has completed her Ph.D. research under the joint supervisions of Prof. Dr. Chhatra Mani Sharma and Prof. Dr. Rajendra Joshi and the Co-Supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Smriti Gurung.

The Ph.D. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean of School of Science Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, Supervisors Prof. Dr. Chhatra Mani Sharma and Prof. Dr. Rajendra Joshi, Head of Department Prof. Dr. Kumud Raj Kafle, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Udhab Raj Khadka, Dean's Nominee Dr. Balram Pokhrel and VC's Nominee Prof. Dr. Rameshwor Adhikary.

The final approval of the Ph.D. degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
