Ms. Hari Devi Sharma, a scholar of M.Phil. in Environmental Science at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering has successfully defended her dissertation entitled "Ethnobotanical and Phytochemical Study of Houttuynia Cordata Thunb-A Medicinal Herb of Nepal." on October 9, 2023. Ms. Sharma has completed her M.Phil. Research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane and Co-Supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Smriti Gurung.

The M.Phil. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, HoD Dr. Kumud Raj Kafle, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Subodh Kumar Upadhayaya, Co-Supervisor Dr. Smriti Gurung and Dr. Bishnu Maya K.C. (Dean’s Nominee).

The final approval of the M.Phil. degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
