Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, KU was
invited as a Speaker to share an experience of High-Level
Briefing: Primer Series on ICTD for Youth
organized by United Nations Asian and Pacific Training Centre for
Information and Communication Technology for Development
(UN-APCICT/ESCAP)
and
Information and Communication Technology Agency of Srilanka (ICTA)
on 29th
September, 2016 in Colombo, Srilanka.
The
program was held with an objective to promote the Engaged Learning in
linking classroom learning to development and to advocate for
increased adoption and integration of ICTD education in University
Curricula through APCICT’s Primer Series.
The
Program was attended by the representatives from Ministry of Higher
Education & Highways, University Grant Commission, and
Universities of Srilanka and UN-APCICT Director, and Resource person.
