Mr. Shrestha Awarded with Outstanding Youth of Nation 2014

Mr. Suman  Dhun Shrestha, Research Fellow at Building Stronger Universities (BSU II), School of Engineering, has been awarded with “Outstanding Youth of Nation 2014” at the 41^st Nepal Jaycees National Convention addressed by the Rt. Honorable Prime Minister Sushil Koirala. The award was presented at the Information Technology Park, Kavre, on 26 December 2014.Mr. Shrestha got this recognition for his works in science and technology, especially for his research and project works on Biogas electrification and Horizontal and Vertical Ground Water Drilling Manual works, which were carried out under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha, Associate Dean, School of Engineering.Mr. Shrestha completed his Undergraduate studies in Environmental Engineering from Kathmandu University and M. Sc in Disaster Management and Sustainable Development from University of Northumbria, United Kingdom. Kathmandu University wishes for his successful career in the days to come.
