Programme for Science and Technological Human Resources under the Japan-East
Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youth (JENESYS) Programme 2009 in Japan from Nov 1 – 14, 2009. During
the courtesy call on Ministry of Foreign Affairs, , Mr. Krishna
Prasad Shrestha delivered special speech on the behalf of all the participating
nations from SAARC. During the program, 4 participants have represented . The rest two
participants (Mr.
Kaji Ram Karki and Mr. Soyuz Gautam) were from .
The objective of the programme was to
establish network among Japanese and SAARC Science and Technological human
resources and also to establish network within the Science and Technological
human resources from SAARC nations. The participating nations were (3 participants),

they have visited are Nagoya Institute of Technology, Kyoto Institute of
Technology and . They have also
visited Yamazaki Mazak Corporation, , Sumitomo Metal
Industries – Kashima Steel Works and Yamanaka Engineering Company at . The participants
have also visited , Disaster
Reduction and Human Renovation Institute and various historic and cultural
sites of . According to the
participants from , the program
