Mr. Babi Kumar Kafle, a scholar of Ph.D. in Environmental Science at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering has successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Water Quality, Trophic Status and Resource Utilization of Phewa Lake and Kulekhani Reservoir, Nepal." on Friday, June 28, 2024. Mr. Kafle has completed his Ph.D. research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal and the Co-Supervision of Prof. Dr. Chhatra Mani Sharma.

The Ph.D. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane, supervisor Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal, HoD Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kumud Raj Kafle, External Examiner Prof. Dr. Kumar Sapkota, Prof. Dr. Rijan Bhakta Kayastha (Dean’s Nominee) and Dr. Neera Shrestha Pradhan (VC’s Nominee).

The final approval of the Ph.D. degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
