Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Singh a scholar of Ph.D. in Physics at the Department of Physics has successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Experimental study of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP), production of reactive species and its application in agriculture" on Friday, June 12, 2026. Mr. Singh has completed his Ph.D. research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ujjwal Man Joshi, Prof. Dr. Deepak Prasad Subedi and Co-Supervision of Prof. Dr. Hom Bahadur Baniya.
The Ph.D. Defense Seminar (Viva) was evaluated by an Evaluation Committee chaired by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Bed Mani Dahal; supervisor, Prof. Dr. Ujjwal Man Joshi; HoD Department of Physics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shanker Prasad Chimoriya; External examiner, Prof. Dr. Raju Khanal; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gobinda Prasad Panta (Dean’s Nominee), Prof. Dr. Lekha Nath Mishra (VC’s Nominee), Prof. Dr. Bhupal Govinda Shrestha (Associate Dean).
The final approval of the Ph.D. degree will be done after the incorporation of the comments and suggestions provided by the Evaluation Committee.
