A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed
between Northwestern Chinese Plant Natural Compounds Bank, Lanzhou Institute of
Chemical Physics, Peoples of Republic of China and School of Science, Kathmandu
University.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Mohan B. Gewali, Dean of School of Science,
Kathmandu University and Prof. Dr. Yanping Shi, Director, Lanzhou Institute of
Chemical Physics, Lanzhou. The signing of MoU was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Janardan
Lamichhane, Head, Department of Biotechnology and Prof. Junli Yang, Director,
Northwestern Chinese Plant Natural Compounds Bank, P.R. China.
The MoU was developed to pursue joint
research activities in the field of research of bioactive natural constituents
of Chinese and Nepali Medicinal plants, and development of new natural medicines.
