A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concerning strategic academic partnership was signed by Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Officiating Vice Chancellor, Kathmandu University (KU),  and Prof. Dr. Zhao Junhai, Vice president, Chang’an University, Xi’an, China, on 26 November 2015.

Prof. Dr. Mohan Bikram Gewali, Dean, School of Science presented welcome speech on the occasion. Prof. Dr. Ramesh Kumar Maskey and Prof. Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha, Associate Deans, School of Engineering, emphasized on action-oriented MoU during their remarks. Prof. Dr. Arbind Tuladhar explained the background and rationale of signing the MoU between these Universities. Prof. Dr. Zhang Wei, Deputy Dean of International Education School introduced Chang’an University.

Similarly, Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan, Assistant Professor and Acting Head of Department, Civil and GeomaticsEngineering (DCGE) delivered vote of thanks. Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, Head, Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Dr. Kundan Lal Shrestha, Co-ordinator of Environmental Engineering and Ms. Reshma Shrestha, Assistant professor at DCGE attended the program.

Mr. Subash Ghimire, Assistant Professor and Geomatics Engineering Program Co-ordinator co-ordinated the MoU Signing ceremony.
