MoU between Kathmandu University (KU) and Australian Catholic University Limited (ACU), Australia

Kathmandu University (KU) and Australian Catholic University Limited (ACU) have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen academic collaboration and facilitate various exchange and cooperation activities. The agreement was signed by Professor Zlatko Skrbis, Vice-Chancellor and President of ACU, and Professor Dr. Bhola Thapa, Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University, on March 12, 2024.

The primary objectives outlined in the MoU encompass a range of collaborative initiatives, including affiliation for unilateral or bilateral Study Abroad programs, staff exchange agreements for academic and administrative staff, collaborative curriculum development to support Student Mobility programs and joint participation in internationally funded projects.

The MoU is set to be effective immediately upon the signatures of both parties, with a duration of five years from the date of signing. It may be subject to revision or modification by mutual agreement between ACU and KU during its term.

This MoU marks a significant step in fostering international cooperation between Australian Catholic University Limited and Kathmandu University, promising mutual benefits in academic, research, and cultural exchange endeavors.
