Members of Confucius Institute Paid a Visit to Chinese Projects

A group of teachers and students from the Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University (CIKU) paid a visit to some of the projects completed under the assistance of Peoples’ Republic of China in Kathmandu on 18 March 2012.The team visited Civil Service Hospital and Birendra International Convention Centre at Baneshwor, International Sports Complex at Lalitpur, National Ayurvedic Training and Research Centre at Kirtipur and Dasarath Stadium at Tripureshwor. The delegates in the team comprised of Mr. Zou Bin, director of the Cultural Section of Chinese Embassy; Prof. Dr. Jangab Chauhan, Head of the Department of Languages and Mass Communication, Kathmandu University; Mr. Zhang Shubin, Senior teacher from Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University. Media persons in the team were representatives from Xinhua News Agency and some Nepali journalists.
