A meeting between the teams of University Grants Commission (UGC) Nepal and Kathmandu University was held on August 17, 2021 at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Registrar Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, Deans of School of Engineering and School of Law, representatives from different divisions under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and the Office of the Registrar were present representing Kathmandu University.

Likewise, the Member-Secretary Prof. Shankar Prasad Bhandari, IEC Officer Mr. Devendra Rawal, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Mr. Dulraj Chimariya, Planning and Program Officer Mr. Binod Bhattarai from the UGC Nepal were present in the meeting.

The Manager of Finance Division Mr. Chandeswor Shrestha presented on the behalf of Kathmandu University whereas Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Mr. Dulraj Chimariya presented on the behalf of UGC Nepal.

The possible future collaboration on community-university linkage, incubation and innovation, and so on was discussed. Both parties also expressed their expectations from the other party.
