The students of Master of Education School Counseling have been organizing live webinar series on Counseling since 27th February 2024. The first webinar featured Mr. Binod Paudel, a faculty member of Master in Counseling Psychology from Tribhuvan University. In this webinar, the speaker discussed the theme 'Psycho-social Understanding of School Counseling. The second webinar session was on 26th March 2024 led by Ms. Sushama Regmi, Senior Psychologist and Program Director of Antarang Psycho-Social Research and Training Institute. She talked about the Pscho-Social Intervention in Schools and Parenting Adolescents. Similarly, on 30th April 2024, Dr.Bijay Gyawali, Psychotherapist and Founder of Amoha Clinic conducted a session titled 'Suicide as a Global Health Problem: The Challenges of School-Based Suicide Prevention'. The webinar series is open to all interested individuals, requiring prior registration for participation. More sessions are planned, to be conducted monthly, focusing on various counseling issues, challenges and role of counseling for the well-being of students and society.
