KUSOM Signed Internship Agreement with TEPC

Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) signed an Internship Agreement  with Trade and Export Promotion Center (TEPC)  According to this Agreement,  KUSOM students will be working on the areas of export and trade promotion activities, product development, trade information, database management, and trade facilitation among others.

Mr. Suyash Khanal, Deputy Executive Director and Prof. Bijay KC were the signatories of the Agreement. The signing took place in a ceremony attended by Prof. Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, Vice Chancellor, Kathmandu University; Mr. Sharad Rana, Executive Director, TEPC; Deans from the School of Arts, Education and Science, KUSOM faculties, and TEPC representatives.

Prof. Bijay KC, Dean of KUSOM, in his welcome note shared the need for business schools to work in partnership with corporates and government organizations  to provide the much needed learning opportunities for students. Mr Sharad Rana, Executive Director, TEPC, highlighted the need for internship for hands on knowledge and experience to management graduates.  The Vice Chancellor suggested that internship is a way to connect with the community. He stressed upon the fact that such activities were in line with the quality initiatives of the University.
