KU Thesis Awarded in International Competition

The PhD thesis of Dr. Prakash C Bhattarai, Assistant Professor, Kathmandu University School of Education titled “Ethical Leadership in Nepali Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Schools: A Convergent Mixed Methods Study” has been chosen by the editorial team of Journal of Educational Administration, as a Highly Commended Award winner of the 2015 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards in the Education and Leadership Strategy category.  A worldwide competition was held among doctoral research scholars and Dr. Bhattarai was selected for the award.  The award was announced on April 13 in London.

Dr. Bhattarai was also awarded Paul Begley Award 2015 by University Council of Educational Administration (UCEA)’s Consortium for the Study of Leadership and Ethics (CSLEE) in the last October in Penn State College, Pennsylvania, USA in a global competition of PhD dissertations.
