KU Dhulikhel

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Kathmandu University and Udayapur Cement Industries Ltd. Nepal to define areas and conditions for cooperation, primarily for Education, Research, Student Internship and Industrial Project.

Prof. Mohan B. Gewali, Dean of School of Science, Prof. Ramesh Kumar Maskey, Associate Dean of SoE (Academic and administrative), Prof. Bim Prasad Shrestha, Associate Dean of SoE (Research and other activities), Dr. Hari Prasad Neopane, Associate Professor and Head of the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan, Assistant Professor and Acting Head of the Dept. of Civil & Geomatics Engineering, and Dr. Kundan Lal Shrestha, Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Environmental Science and Engineering attended the signing. Mr. Niranajan Singh Basnet, Board Member, and Mr. Mahesh Shah, Deputy Director, accompanied Mr. Paudel on behalf of Udayapur Cement.

This MoU is effective from 11 June 2015 and is valid for 5 years from the date of signing unless renewed.
