KU Alumni Discuss Entrepreneurship Development

A team of KU alumni discussed Entrepreneurship Development with graduating undergraduate students. The final year undergraduate students of Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DoCSE), Dept. of Bio-Technology and Dept. of Applied Physics jointly organized an Entrepreneurship-based talk/interaction program entitled “Entreprenerds’ Tales – Live the Stories! ” on June 23, 2017, at CV Raman Auditorium.

The programm was attended by over 250 students and faculty members.

The speakers for the event were Mr. Bobby Basnet, Co-founder of Semantic Creations and Managing Director of Visualize VR, Mr.Ashok Bhattarai, Co-founder and Production Manager of Praramva Biotech, and Mr. Sixit Bhatta, Co-founder of Tootle, a ride-sharing company. All three speakers had completed their undergraduate degrees from Kathmandu University in 2015, 2010, and 2002 respectively.

During his opening address, Prof. Dr. Bhupendra Bimal Chhetri, Dean, School of Engineering, welcomed the speakers and appreciated the effort put in by the students. The program was held under the supervision of course instructor Mr. Bibhu Ratna Tuladhar for the partial fulfillment of the Entrepreneurship Development course.

The event was supported by Humanities and Management Unit (HMU), School of Engineering.
