KU-DoHI and Telemedicine Society of Nepal Sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Department of Health Informatics (DoHI) at Kathmandu University and the Telemedicine Society of Nepal (TMSoN) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 25, 2025. The agreement was signed by Assistant Professor Santosh Khanal, Acting Head of the Department of Health Informatics, and Dr. Udaya Koirala, Chairperson of TMSoN.

This MoU aims to foster collaboration in the fields of health informatics, telemedicine, and emerging digital health technologies. Through this partnership, both institutions will work together to enhance curriculum development, promote innovative research, support startups, provide mentorship opportunities, and facilitate knowledge sharing. The collaboration will also include joint workshops, seminars, training programs, and practical student engagement in telemedicine applications.

This agreement reflects the shared commitment of Kathmandu University and TMSoN to advance digital health solutions, improve healthcare delivery, and equip students with the skills needed to thrive in the evolving health technology landscape.
