KTM Taxi Meter in Android Play Store

KTM Taxi Meter made by Computer Department student is in play store

KTM Taxi Meter, the android application which won LOCUS 2013 in Open Software category is now on Play Store. The application that works using GPS to track the users location and then show the distance and the charge every three seconds as well as the path travelled has been liked by many.  The application was uploaded on Play Store in on September 5, 2013. It is also one of the projects representing Kathmandu University in CAN SoftTech 2013.

KTM Taxi Meter was developed as mini-project for the course of Embedded System by the third year students of the Kathmandu University and was supervised by Mr. Prakash Poudyal, Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

We wish our best wishes for them and urge everyone to download the application, use it, avoid being overcharged while travelling in Taxi and also give them feedbacks.
