In June and July, representatives from Kathmandu University School of Law visited Banepa Municipality, Panauti Municipality, Panchkhal Municipality, Dhulikhel Municipality, and Namobuddha Municipality. The purpose of these visits was to engage in discussions about potential plans and programs for mutual collaboration between the municipalities and the KU-Law Clinic.

The meetings centered on developing initiatives that leverage the expertise and resources of both the KU-Law Clinic and the local municipalities to address community legal issues, enhance practical legal education, and promote access to justice. These discussions represent a significant step towards strengthening community ties and increasing the practical impact of legal education within the region.

Officials from all parties involved expressed optimism about future collaborations, which are expected to benefit local communities and the students of Kathmandu University School of Law. Further details regarding specific programs will be announced as plans progress.
