The Department is pleased to announce that Mr. Narayan Kumar Shrestha, an MPhil Scholar at Kathmandu University, has been selected as an ASAP Fellow in the Global Justice Program at Yale University for the 2026–2027 cohort.

The Academics Stand Against Poverty (ASAP) Fellowship Program brings together highly qualified practitioners, scholars, and academicians from around the world to engage in scholarly work addressing poverty, inequality, social justice, and inclusive development. The 2026–2027 cohort comprises 22 fellows selected globally, who will participate in the fellowship between May 2026 and April 2027. Mr. Shrestha's selection for this prestigious international fellowship reflects his academic excellence and commitment to advancing research on social justice and inclusive development.
