A conference on ““Vibrant Platform for Social, Economic and Technological Development” was held at Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel on September 8, 2019. 

The conference was jointly organized by Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala (JJT) University in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, India, and Kathmandu University.  JJT University Prof. Dr. Nishikant Jha and KU Assistant Professor Mr. Uddhab Prasad Pyakurel gave keynote speeches on “Conference Objectives,” and “Nepal India Relationship,” respectively.   Three parallel sessions were held on: 1) Science & Information Technology; 2) Commerce, Management and Economics; and 3) Humanities, Art & Investment.  These session were chaired by faculty members from JJTU and KU. 

Copies of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for further collaboration between the two universities--signed by JJTU Chairperson Dr. Vinod Tibrewala and KUSOM Dean Prof. Dr. Bijay K.C.--were also exchanged during the conference.
