A meeting and interaction program with the team led by Mr. Sushil Bhatta, CEO of Investment Board of Nepal (IBN) was organized at Senate Hall, CV Raman Auditorium, Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel on October 28, 2021.

The team comprising of the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Deans of the School of Engineering, School of Law and School of Management, Associate Deans from the School of Engineering and School of Science and HoDs and representatives from various divisions and departments from Kathmandu University welcomed the team from the Investment Board of Nepal. The team from the IBN included Mr. Ramesh Adhikari, Under Secretary, Head Admin and Investment Promotion Unit and Mr. Ganesh Acharya, Media Consultant.

Mr. Bhatta is also an alumnus of Kathmandu University. He received his Bachelors of Engineering and Masters of Business Administration from KU. He along with the team from Kathmandu University remembered his time at the university.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed that the door for interaction and communication has opened for Kathmandu University.

The possible future coordination in the fields of chemical engineering, tunnel technology, artificial intelligence, environmental aspects, and other areas was expressed by the team of Kathmandu University.

The Dean of the School of Management Prof. Dr. Devi Prasad Sharma Bedari gave the welcome remarks and the Controller of Examinations Prof. Dr. Panna Thapa gave the closing remarks. The program was moderated by Dr. Biraj Singh Thapa, School of Engineering
